Neil Lion is something fierce. He’s been all over the place delivering his obscure DJ sets that tackle everything from early electronica, to post-punk, to no-wave, to noise, sometimes off the beaten track and often in the places you’d least expect to hear something so gruesome.

Imagine being in a club in Berlin around 1983 – you’ve done a Ricky Hatton sized line of coke, two girls (potentially guys) are eyeing you up over the brim of their peach schnapps cocktails, and you hear a song playing in the background. Most likely it would be Lovebites, only they’re from Leeds in the present day.
