The BoardRoom-A small town store.

Categorised as MEDIA., SKATE.

The BoardRoom is a classic example of what happens when great minds come together and create ideas, In a nutshell its a small town Skate,Music & Art store in a town called Dorking, sort of wedged nicely in-between London and Brighton. Stocking big name brands such as Volcom & Emerica the store also stocks some of the more niche brands including Stussy and Rockwell, Rockwells t-shirt ranges featuring some awesome illustrations involving beaked women & bikes.  Old and new vinyl sit nicely together in the music orientated back room allowing for a good rummage, vinyl all the way from A tribe Called Quest to Vampire weekend and Four Tet. The guys sort of have a little bit of everything covered.

The Boardroom is ran and owned by three enthusiastic guys, all with backgrounds of music production, skate and snowboarding experience and a firm grip on what the historic town of Dorking really needs. Offering a warm welcome and a beauteous red leather sofa to rest those tired legs on, the shop also promotes local artists, musicians and designers with prints, photos and music all for sale throughout the store,  lighting a fire underneath all those who find themselves being dampened by the storm of ‘BIG’ businness.

All in all The BoardRoom is about as humble as a shop can be, Relaxed atmosphere, Great music playing all day long, brands to suit everyone’s tastes and pockets, and all importantly 3 like minded and creative individuals behind the store front. Work has recently finished on a new skate park in Dorking which is an easy 5 minute walk from the shop, so give the guys a visit if your in town.
