Chris is a Cali native, so he sent me an array of photos detailing the kind of landscapes people skate out there; street spots, skateparks, backyard ramps, backyard pools, backyard bowls, street plazas and drainage ditches. Drainage ditches, in particular, look hella cool – there’s always some sort of cool shit going down, be it skating, cholos racing suped up cars or mad street parties where all the girls are hot and all the guys are beefed. They sure beat countryside ditches, the british equivalent. Chris skates but he says due to age and injury he’s not quite skate-photo-worthy anymore.
