Lovenskate and Huck: Rolling Back the Years

Categorised as MEDIA., SKATE.

I headed down to the HUCK and Lovenskate show, Rolling Back The Years, at the Red Gallery the other night. It was basically a celebration of 80s skateboarding with loads of old school decks custom designed by a plethora of artists and skaters involved with the ever fascinating Lovenskate skate brand. It featured decks designed by the likes of Jimbo PhillipsFrenchStu SmithBenjamin JeanJean, TCOLondon, Schoph Schophield, Lovenskate artistic director/designer Owen Tozer and jewel in the crown of English skating, Geoff Rowley. Whilst HUCK magazine curated a bunch of exclusive photos shot by contributors from around the world, which displays the skate scene in its variously international glory.

The exhibition closes today, the 17th of January, but is well worth checking out if you have a free half hour and you are in the area.
