Video: Zambri – Hundred Hearts

Categorised as BLOG., MUSIC.

I managed to catch Zambri when I was out at SXSW and they were pretty phenomenal, bringing in as much experimentation as they do soaring pop sensibilities their records fall somewhere right in the middle of being radio friendly and “yeah Zambri are my favourite band but you wont have heard of them”. Hundred Hearts is taken from debut LP, House of Bassa (which was assisted by Noel Heroux aka Hooray For Earth) and is a sultry affair with the perfectly weighted vocals resting above the soothing bass tones and ethereal synth notes. It’s a delicate pop ballad that soars far boyond the expectations of the genre, “I have a hundred hearts for you” Zambri sisters.

House of Bassa is streaming over on Noisey
