Video: Factory Floor – Two Different Ways

Categorised as BLOG., MUSIC.

Take what is possibly the most deservedly hyped bands of the current decade, the most deservedly hyped label of this and the last decade and you have the one of the most deservedly hyped releases of recent years. Factory Floor, purveyors of the kind of live turgid techno that would make even the most straight laced fundamentalist religious zealout bug out, join forces with DFA, a label that almost warrants a genre of their own for their endlessly unique and definitive releases.

Two Different Ways is everything you would expect from Factory Floor who’s foundations are built on loud, building and haunting techno soundscapes, frequently breaking the ten minute mark live. Each release gets closer to the true nature of that building live sound and Two Different Ways is the closest representation yet. Sprawling and morphing through an array of different motions. Pretty much the best ten minutes of the year so far. Set the hyperbole and the volume to 11.

Two Different Ways is out on DFA on the 14th November. Buy it.
