Is anyone not loving the return of Egyptian Hip Hop? Dancing a finely tuned line between electronica and psychedelia that delivers an almost transcendental quality. Yoro Diallo tenderly nudges anticipation of the forthcoming album with it’s off-beat pop sensibility and is a nod to the West African musician from whom it takes its title. The band are exploring what contemporary pop music can be, seemingly playing with a vast array of influences and techniques and from what we’ve heard so far it would seem that October 22nd is a day to have marked down in your diary.
