A few months ago we brought you the first release from Binary, we were intrigued by their heavy guitar sounds that seemed to point to an actual future for guitar music rather than what at the time appeared to be an obsession with looking into the sounds of yesteryear with rose tinted vintage glasses. This latest release through Echoplex Records finds much crispier and altogether heavier guitars and they’ve laid off on the reverb heavy vocals. It’s boistrous, swaggering affair, not “giving a fuck about Africa” and seeming injecting a bit of testosterone back into rock music, I’ll leave it up to you to decide if that is a good thing or not…
