Numan is a Planet Mu registered hot-shot button pusher from the home of my nan; Manchester – barely out of his teens, making man music for masses. Marked with the Planet Mu  seal of approval, his name has been shifted around by the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, Starkey and one of my friends who knows a lot about dubstep.  It’s a somewhat off-colour brand of the step, delectably fragile without ever sacrificing that hard-hitting edge. He’s like Skream in that he can be both progressive and interesting by mastering the simplistics of the genre. He gave us a mixtape and I’ve taken some time putting it up so apologies there, but you da fucking best.
