‘ The World Is All There Is.’

Fools Gold are a Los Angeles collective that weave together western pop with African rhythms and melody’s. The collective began as a side project of two young musicians, Israeli born vocalist and bassist Luke Top and lead guitarist Lewis Pesacov, they set out to explore their shared passion of various forms of African music, from Congolese, Ethiopian, Eritrean and Malian as well as Krautrock and 80′s dance influenced pop music.  Originally from Israel, Vocalist Luke Top sings in Hebrew more often than English, giving Fools Gold a sound like no other out there. Overall the collective is made up of all sorts of different musicians, past live line ups have included members of bands such as We Are Scientists and The Fall. Fools Gold claim to have started out playing back yard BBQ’s and party’s which seems to work perfectly when listening to their music. An awesome live performance to behold. Look out for Fools Gold in their upcoming UK summer shows at the Stanton Calling festival and at the Leicester Summer Sundae.
