Quantic.
If by chance you haven’t heard of Quantic aka William Holland then let me explain….He is an English musician & producer living in Cali, Colombia. His music has an awesome Funk Soul, Latin kinda vibe to it, fantastic Summer evening music. Which is perfect because Quantic and his Combo Bárbaro make a rare and eagerly anticipated trip from Colombia to bring their exhilarating live show back to the UK and Europe this Summer! With a Sunday evening set on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury Festival and an appearance at the Barbican among this packed schedule of shows, as well as confirmed BBC Radio sessions and many more high profile media appearances being lined up as we speak. Keep your eyes peeled as we may well be sending someone from Mint Magazine to review a show, but i strongly advise you guys to go out and catch a show. It’s an experience!
Led by the band leader and musical mastermind Will ‘Quantic’ Holland, once again Quantic and his Combo Bárbaro comprises an international cast of acclaimed players, originating from Peru, Colombia, the UK and Argentina bringing you a high-energy, rich and authentic tapestry of sounds and influences, from the rhythms of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, to Pacific Folklore.
