Discordant guitars, husky vocals, broken drums. Drop Out Venus are something totally unique right now and that is quite special. From the outset they have been a band who have done things differently, almost in a world of their own, totally divorced from any coherent scene, seemingly almost existing in their own bubble (obvious influences aside). It’s fascinating to watch them develop as a band and perhaps that’s precisely because they defy categorisation, they don’t fit in. Consider how rapidly this band are growing up and evolving into a serious force to be reckoned with.
