Download: O Children – Pt. Cruiser

Categorised as Uncategorized

O Children have been locked away writing and recording their follow up to 2010′s self titled debut for as long as I can remember. The second album is the really really tricky one, you have to get to know an entirely new set of songs in a completely different and much faster way and you need to deliver on the seeds of expectation that you sowed with album number one. But by all accounts the recording and writing process went well, the band are happy with the album, titled ‘Apena’, and judging by this track I’m pretty impressed myself. There is a definite move away from the brooding post punk of their first offering to a more wall of sound guitar sound. It’s most certainly a promising move forward, the band exploring their possibilities as a ‘rawk band’ with a more vintage rock and roll sound taking influences from gospel, R’nB and pop. Watch this space.

Joe Moore and Tom Bosley hit Madchester.

Joe and Tom didn't want to let something so skate-destroying as snow ruin a good chance to skate, so they got the train to Manchester, and it was snowy.
