I grew up playing computer games, they had great music but no matter how much we pretend otherwise mario’s beeps are kind of lame without context. At some point this all changed and now HEALTH are writing music for games. Hell, I’ve even see it referred to as a score.  I think it was pretentious stupidity and not a great gaming joke unfortunately.
