You might know this guy from internet comedy group ‘Derrick Comedy’ and as Troy Barnes from the excellent ‘Community’ – this is his rap project Childish Gambino. Treading the same ethically ambiguous path as Drake in trying to appeal to the hood rats as much as he is the backpackers. Understandably it’s taken a while for it to gain any credibility; but he’s a competent enough rapper and the beats are more hit then they are miss, so you never know, you know….
