Let it never be said that Essex can’t produce it’s own fair share of the achingly elegant. A notion demonstrated most aptly by 22 year old producer Lapalux; whose  brittle weaving together  of thoughts and moments makes for a woozy post-genre electronica , carelessly ethereal and goofed out on ketamine. Lazy comparisons could be drawn to Shlohmo  and Klavierwerke era James Blake but it’s a mutual source of inspiration rather than a tacky imitation. It’s out on the 18th of this month on Pictures Music, so go get dat ass.
