If you live in South London, chances are you are pretty familiar with Elephant & Castle shopping center. If not as a retail destination then at least as a landmark. From the 24th to the 29th of May, Unit 237 on the first floor (formerly the 98p store) is going to contain an exhibition held by students of the Graphic and Media Design course at LCC. The work on show takes inspiration from the shopping center and the surrounding area.

Lapalux has just started an Australian tour. Pretty much as the weather here has resorted to being incredibly unpredictable in all ways apart from that it will be shit. Part of me is tempted not to post this out of jealousy and spite but it really is too good to be that petty about things.

People got very excited when we put up a stream from the new Max Payne game on Tuesday. Here we have a bit more of Health's score. It's much less of what you would expect from the band, all melancholy strings and no warped electronica or hypnotic beats, but it give you more of an idea of what they have put together. We also have a frustratingly short snippet of a bit of music called 'Combat Drugs' which is more like the Health we know and love.

Total Slacker are about to embark on an American tour and have recorded a cover of Grimes 'Oblivion' before they set out. How they arrived at that spelling I don't know, but they're artsy types, they're post-spelling or something. They've filmed a brief chat about the recording of it in their studio out in L.A.
