Kenzo x Vans
Kenzo have created an eye-catching variation on the classic Van’s Era shoe using bold prints from their SS12 show.
Humberto Leon and Carol Lim (the dynamic duo behind New York’s burgeoning store/superbrand Opening Ceremony) have breathed new life into Paris based fashion house Kenzo in just two seasons.
Founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, the pair has transformed the brand into one of fashion’s most formidable contemporary names, releasing two acclaimed collections in just under a year.
Leon and Lim’s characteristic vibrancy has been well documented in the past two seasons, and now their fresh approach to design is moving away from the runway and onto the high-street – via an awesome collaboration with Vans.
The collection will feature 7 variations of bold primary prints available in unisex sizes. Starting from £80, these are an affordable alternative to classic Vans – perfect for injecting some colour into your summer wardrobe whether you’re a guy or a girl.
Kenzo x Vans will be available at Opening Ceremony and Harvey Nichols from mid May.
