Video: FAIR OHS – Green Apple Milk
Fair Ohs second album ‘Jungle Cats‘ is out on the 28th May, to tantalize you they’ve made this video for Green Apple Milk. It makes just as much sense as the title and features neither of the things in it. It does have a topless, masked, bearded man struggling to eat an ice-cream with any decorum and then the same man rolling around in money wearing little white pants with exactly as much decorum as would be expected in such a situation.
Video: Wolf Alice – Bros
Wolf Alice throw some shapes in front of some pretty coloured background graphics. At times it looks like they’re dancing along to their own song at others not so much but that might just be a result of their choreographic ability.
Stream: Disclosure – You & Me ft. Eliza Doolittle (Baauer Remix)
There’s no way this isn’t going to be huge but it’s really good so we thought we’d stick it up anyway. The Disclosure album itself is getting ever closer with it’s release date of June 3rd and Disclosure look set to just keep getting bigger. Enjoy this now before it gets played to death.
Stream: Superfood – TV

New demo from Superfood about the use of television as a sleeping aide. You see the singer can’t sleep without the TV on, at some point somebody turned off his TV which obviously irks him as it means he can no longer sleep. Superfood are playing 4 times at The Great Escape this weekend, so no excuse not to catch them if you’re Brighton bound.

Video: drop Out Venus – Death Is Screaming
Drop Out Venus took a stroll down Deptford highstreet with some of their kooky friends and nobody batted an eyelid because South East London is like that and stuff. Directed by EyesOnTheWall. The track is from the Glitz EP which comes out on the 20th of May.
Download: Wax Witches – OREO

New free download from Wax Witches. It’s about how to eat an Oreo and also features helpful advice from Alex’s Mum about how chocolate is not for your dog. Song writing at it’s very pinnacle. So, TWIST IT, LICK IT, DUNK IT! Just don’t make household animals sick with it.

Stream: Lust For Youth – Breaking Silence

Hannes Norrvide releases his third album as Lust For Youth on Sacred Bones on the 15th of July. It’s going to be called ‘Perfect View’. Hannes is set to tour his music across Europe for the first time this Spring with the help of Loke Rahbek from Vår who hopefully possesses more stage presence than the petulant Iceage front-man who makes up the rest of that act.

Download: Majical Cloudz – Bugs Don’t Buzz
Majical Cloudz write moving electronic ballads that pitch themselves perfectly between the mesmerising and the heart-breaking. When we saw them at SXSW it was a genuine jaw dropping moment, an utterly silent room fixated on a stage where two men almost motionlessly controlled the audience with bleak electronics and commanding vocals. It was the last day of a long week and will forever remain one of my most moving musical experiences as a girl towards the front of the stage sobbed quietly through their set.
If you start with Bugs Don’t Buzz yoou’ll understand everything you need to know about this duo and should be hooked.
