David Henry Thomas was watching a load of Nathan Barley when he took these photos – there’s an episode where they feature a photographer called 15Peter20 who photographs celebrities when they’re pissing, because apparently you’re at your most vulnerable when you’re having a wee. David realises that photos of people on the toilet have become a bit cliched, but he was going for a more ‘day to day, non-glammed experience… more of a documentary style.’
