Oatmeal.

Shawn Correia goes by the moniker Oatmeal because, ‘when I first started drawing seriously everything I drew had horrible lumpy skin, and still does now actually.’ Shawn’s going in to his last year at Farnham and besides being swamped in coursework he juggles some freelance illustration with skating, in fact ‘a lot of the time when I’ve got work, be it uni or illustration I push it to the side to go skate.’ Oatmeal’s work is inspired by whatever he’s listening to at the time or whatever he’s feeling but he says, ‘the key element to my art work is humour, no matter what the theme or brief, I always aim to make the viewer smile.’
