“I was just complaining to anyone who would listen about how I miss the fog and that there is none of it ever here in Reykjavik. In the east of Iceland they have constant fog – so deep that long ago people would get lose their way out in it and die wandering unknown circles in the highlands. Maybe this still happens even. But not here. The next day though it came and all the town disappeared under it. The smallness of this place was made even smaller – it was a lost city. It was bloody great.”
