Jack draws pictures of people shooting up, portraits of people in those old man jumpers that everyone’s been loving for the past few years, and his take on what it looks like if go on photobooth on a mac and put the stretch effect on.  Oh, also he’s just started a regular illustration job at the Metro so watch out for that. He showed us round his workspace (which is a step up after working on a drawing board on his bed all summer) and told us a bit about it.

‘My Macbook and Wacom tablet are essential for me to edit and colour work.’

‘This is my workspace/studio (aka my bedroom) where I do most of my creating. I keep it pretty tidy most the time because I can’t think when its a massive mess. I have lots of things – bits and bobs that make me happy, and have music playing pretty much constantly.’

‘These are some of my favourite things among my organised clutter. I couldn’t live without music so my iPod is very important. Also my 2 cameras, a mini diana and an Agfa Silette from the 1950s. I’m not massively into photography but I enjoy developing the film and seeing how shit my photos come out. And of course a 2B pencil, pretty much the only thing I use to draw, and a rubber because its always needed.’
