Corey Bartle-Sanderson.
Corey Bartle-Sanderson is studying fine art at foundation level and choosing to focus on photography. I personally absolutely love Corey; his work is peaceful and looks so effortlessly cool – like a falcon. We love him a little bit more because he only uses film and isn’t messing around with any of that HDR shit. An Olympus OM10, Canon AE1 and a Olympus mju ii are Corey’s cameras of choice; “I prefer working with film as the colours and tones captured are ones which editing cannot achieve.”
“I like to take photos of my surroundings, things that I find interesting, something that portrays a story. I don’t really plan my photos as I want them to look real, capturing the true moment.”

“I want my work to show how I live my life – the things I like/ do and the people who are involved in this. I don’t necessarily set out to make people feel anything, I just want to show fun and youth in my work, making the viewer question what was going on at the time. My inspirations are mainly just the people and things happening around me. My main inspiration though is a friend who has helped me a lot with my photography work, Daniel Evans.”

“I don’t really have any specific plans for the future, I just want to carry on taking photo’s of the things that interest me. I have a feature in the spring issue of Ojodepez, which is getting launched in London on 7th April.“
