It seems like not so long ago that Kyle was just our friend who made us awesome comic strips, like the one below, from time to time, but in the last couple of years Kyle Platts has successfully carved a niche for his distinctive and often grotesque style of illustration. He’s drawn praise and commissions from all over the place and Nobrow are releasing his own book, Megaskull, in just a few short days. Megaskull, also the name of Kyle’s blog, promises 52 pages filled with “the absurd and the humerous” and if you head down to the launch at Beach Gallery on 13th September the man himself will even add his own personal touch to your copy. How can you resist an offer like that?
